Thanks to Bill Yule for identifying this
mushroom as Collybia Jelly - aka
Syzygospora mycetophila
In this case, this parasite consumed the Collybia and is probably growing
off the Collybia mycelium, unlike on this page
where it is growing on top of a Collybia cap and is still only 1/2" in size.
Two growing in termite leftovers next to a
pine or hemlock snag. The one on the left measured 2.25" wide in the
widest dimension.
This is the position it was growing in.
Only top 1/3 was above the sawdust.

The spore print was too light to tell the
color. Below is one one isolated spore that measured 8.6 x 2.4 microns.
