Interesting mushrooms in Westboro MA

This one just caught my eye. There
were about a dozen growing in a small area. The caps were from 1/8" to
about 1.25". This one had a cap of about 1/2". Waxy cap of some
kind. The color was just...
On 6/25/10 I identified this mushroom as:
Scarlet Waxy Cap
Hygrophorus coccineus
At this young stage it is easy to see why it is called the "Scarlet" Waxy Cap.

Spore print was too light to tell the color. Spores 6.7 x 3.6 microns.
