Hygrophorus Milky

One of my favorite mushrooms to eat.  A bit messy to pick.  Have to cut off the tip of the stem to eliminate the dirt.  Blow off any dirt on the gills and stem at this point.  The latex gets over your fingers and turns brown.  Fingers get sticky.  Wipe them on your pants and the pants wind up with brown spots on them.  If you find some after a rain check to see if dirt splattered on them underneath.  If it has, forget them.  That dirt is glued on for good.  I tried washing under running water.  I tried boiling the dirt off.  Nothing works.
